Cathy Crosman has always been a reader. Growing up in Maine, she read all of Shakespeare in sixth grade and was hugged by her librarian as she graduated middle school because she checked out more books than any student ever before. From there she found her way to a Bachelor’s in English literature and Psychology, then somehow arrived at a career in computer programming and web development. She also pursued her avocations of rescuing cats (and the occasional dog and possum), creating with her hands as a woodworker and crafter, filling pages as a writer, going on journeys as a gamer, learning vegan cooking, and flying as a private pilot. Then when her hours-long commutes through Boston traffic were transformed into hours-long audiobook adventures, she was stirred by the nuance, emotion and depth she found there. Narrators became treasured voices in her ear, and she realized she wanted to tell stories, too. Whether exploring the winding narratives of space operas and urban fantasies, getting rough and tumble with soft-boiled detectives and procedural mysteries, or anchoring listeners on a spiritual voyage, Cathy is a guiding voice.
